The highly anticipated Tata Harrier EV is arriving on June 3. Let's explore what this flagship electric SUV promises to deliver.

Tata is soon going to officially introduce the eagerly anticipated Harrier EV in India. The Harrier EV will replace the Curvv EV as the flagship product offered by Tata Motors. The company has already displayed the Harrier EV on multiple occasions such as Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025.
The technical specifications are not revealed by the company, but it is expected that Harrier EV will be coming with a variety of new features, design upgrades and futuristic technology. Let’s discuss in detail.
Tata Harrier EV Design
Visually, the Harrier EV will retain the same DNA of the traditional ICE Harrier with few modern tweaks to distinguish it from its petrol version. These tweaks include flared wheel arches, rising window highlighted by blacked-out D Pillar and newly designed floating roof effect.
The headlights are vertically placed with LED lighting which are positioned below the uniquely styled DRLs which are extended by a full-width LED bar. The fog lamps are also revised and get a bumper like vertical fog lamps.
Features and Technology
Expect the Harrier EV to come equipped with the same standard features as the Nexon and Curvv EV. This signifies that Harrier EV will be equipped with V2L and V2X technologies, which allows EVs to become an energy source for other EVs by charging it through their batteries. It will also get ADAS Level 2 Technology which includes a variety of driver assistance features.
SUMMON MODE: The Harrier EV is also set to come with a highly advanced feature termed as Summon Mode, which basically takes the control from the driver and parks the cars through sensors, which is a must have feature in crowded urban cities. The Summon mode is most likely to come with higher trims only.
Leading the charge in India's electric vehicle industry, Tata Motors commands a substantial share of the electric passenger vehicle market. Their lineup includes the Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Nexon EV, Punch EV, and Curvv EV, appealing to diverse budgets. The upcoming Harrier EV launch signals their ambition to penetrate the premium segment too.
Expected Price
Tata has not revealed the exact prices but we expect Tata to position Harrier EV in a price bracket of Rs 24 to 30 Lakh, thus positioning this electric SUV against its key competitors like Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, Kia Carens EV, and the E-Vitara which will be soon launching within the same price range.
