The starting price for the Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition is set at Rs 22.24 lakh

The Tata Curvv EV has received a makeover with the introduction of a new Dark Edition, priced at Rs 22 Lakh (Ex-Showroom) in India. The all-electric SUV is the second Tata EV to be equipped with all-black exterior and revised interiors after the Nexon EV.
The Tata Curvv Dark Edition will exclusively be offered in the high-end Empowered+ variant, featuring a 55 kWh battery pack. The black edition is priced at Rs 25,000 more than the standard model.
Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition: What’s Different?
EXTERIOR: Visually, the design is pretty much the same as before with an addition of new window sunshades for rear passengers. The chrome lines on the front bumper available on the standard model are now blacked out to give a resemblance to the dark edition.
- Apart from the carbon Black exterior paint, the Curvv EV Dark rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and ‘Dark’ branding on the fenders.
- The Curvv EV Black edition gets a similar ‘EV’ badge in contrasting blue colour.
INTERIOR: On the inside, Tata has applied Dark theme to the normal light grey and ivory upholstery. The roofline, dashboard, and leatherette seats even come with the Dark theme, with the ‘DARK’ lettering branded on the front headrests to give it a unique look. The Dark edition now features an updated sunshade.
FEATURES: The Dark edition gets similar features to the Non Dark models, which includes a 10.25-inch driver’s display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ambient lights, JBL sound system, panoramic sunroof, and ventilated seats with air purifier.
- Additional features consist of Level 2 ADAS, which is exclusively offered in the highest specification Empowered+ A variant.
- Safety features consist of standard elements like six airbags, rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
- The Curvv EV is also the third Tata EV to score five stars in BNCAP crash testing.
Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition Battery & Performance
The Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition is powered by the same front-wheel drive (FWD) motor which generates 167 Hp and 215 Nm of torque, sourcing power from the same 55 kWh battery pack that offers an impressive range of 502 km under MIDC conditions on just one charge.
The Curvv EV sprints from 0-100 Kph in just 8.6 seconds, and comes with 3 standard driving modes: Eco, City, and Sport. The claimed top speed is rated at 160 kph in Sport mode and 120 Kph for the City and Eco mode.
CHARGING: The Curvv EV comes with a standard 7.2 kW AC charger, enabling the battery to charge completely from 10% to 100% in just 7.9 hours. Additionally, it is compatible with a 70 kW DC fast charger, enabling a quick charge in just 40 minutes. For added convenience, you can also charge the Curvv EV using a regular 15A wall outlet.
