The Tata Punch EV has been enhanced with quicker charging capabilities and fresh color choices.

Tata Motors has refreshed their well-liked Punch EV by introducing new color options, including Pure Grey and Supernova Copper, along with an upgrade for faster charging. The new colour shades are such as Pure Grey and Supernova Copper colour shades. This update was likewise introduced with the new Tata Safari Adventure X Plus variant, which debuted before.

Tata Punch EV New Update Details

The recent upgrade on the charging is that Punch EV now supports charging at 1.2C, which just increases the charging speed from 10% to 80% in just 40 minutes. As per Tata, the Punch EV has also added a significant range of 90 Km in just 15 minutes of time from 50 kW DC fast charger. However the fast charging is only included in Long Range variants of the Punch EV. 

Tata provides two battery pack options with the Punch EV, as the Mid-range variant is sourced by a 25 kWh battery pack with a MIDC certified range of 265 km on a single charge. The Long Range models incorporate a substantial 35 kWh battery pack providing 365 Km of MIDC certified range.

The power from Punch EV mid-range is derived from a single electric motor generating 80 BHP of peak power and 114 Nm of maximum torque output, while the long range utilizes a powerful configuration by generating 120 BHP of power and 190 Nm of peak torque. The Punch EV can sprint from 0-100 km/hr in just 9.5 seconds with a dedicated top speed of 140 kmph. 

The Punch EV is equipped with numerous features, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital console, an air purification system, and a 360-degree camera with blindspot detection, and inclusion of an electric sunroof. 

Included as standard are safety features such as six airbags, ESP, and an Electronic Parking Brake that offers Auto-Hold functionality.
