PURE EV collaborates with BE Energy to introduce battery reconditioning technology in India.

Pure EV, Hyderabad-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, is going to partner with French climate-tech firm BE energy to develop a new and advanced lithium-ion battery air conditioning technology to enhance the battery capacity.
This is a first kind of partnership and strategic alliance done for battery maintenance and will help in the reduction of long term costs for EV owners and eventually they will be able to save more. The reconditioning system will reduce the need for new batteries, indirectly helping in cost savings, Pure EV expressed.
This partnership will introduce innovative and futuristic lithium-ion battery reconditioning technology to the Indian market. This technology will enhance sustainability and help the electric mobility to reduce the carbon footprint produced by them.
BE energy will also be using its patented high-tech equipment and will integrate with patented BatricsFaraday technology from PURE EV. This alliance will also start BE Energy’s production and operations in India.
The company also confirmed that the first facility will be under the tie-up and will be commissioned at Karmanghat IDA in Hyderabad, in the next financial year.
Nishant Dongari, Founder and MD of PURE EV, gave more light on this and said, “ Our strategy has perfectly aligned with BE energy and has a similar vision of creating high quality durable electric vehicles. Our partnership is a testament to bring ‘resale’ confidence among EV buyers and stakeholders, and financial institutions.
Bertrand Coste, Founder and Global President of BE Energy also expressed his happiness by saying, “ Our partnership will grow the company's commitment to drive sustainability and create a greener mobility by making a positive impact and reconditioning defective batteries to make them used in cars, contributing to less costs and increased efficiency”.
Pure EV is set to collaborate with the French climate-tech company BE energy to create an innovative lithium-ion battery air conditioning technology aimed at boosting battery capacity.
