Royal Enfield has announced the timeline for the debut of its first electric motorcycle, the 'Flying Flea C6

Royal Enfield has just revealed the launch timeline of their first groundbreaking electric motorcycle, the Flying C6. The launch timeline is scheduled between the Q4 of FY26, from January to March. After the launch of C6, the company will also launch S6 electric motorcycle, thus Royal Enfield is working on the development of their electric lineup. 

All the electric motorcycles will be sold under the flying Flea Brand, especially marketed by the company to sell their electric bikes. At the current moment, Royal Enfield has not clarified that the new electric motorcycles will be having its touchpoints in the current dealership of ICE motorcycles or through a brand-new network of dealerships focused exclusively on Flying Flea motorcycles.

Upcoming Bikes

To develop the Flying Flea brand in the country, the company has assigned a team of 200 people to manage the Flying Flea project. The company has filed more than 45 patent applications for it and is also undergoing various tests.

Royal Enfield is currently focussing on developing products that are focussed towards providing zero emissions and greener mobility. 

The company is also developing various components of electric motorcycles in-house, such as the Vehicle Control Unit (VCUs). The brand has claimed that the VCU will overall improve the motor’s performance and efficiency. There will also be an option to handle the settings through mobile phone, which is pretty cool. 

Flying Flea C6 Features and Technology

Royal Enfield has not revealed the exact technical specifications of the C6, but it is confirmed that it will be equipped with various features such as cornering ABS, Traction Control, Cruise Control, plus numerous other enhancements.

• There will be an option of standard wall charging through a regular three-pin plug, which enhances the accessibility to charge the bike anywhere.
• It will be equipped with LED lighting and a digital readout.

Flying Flea C6 Power Modes

The power of Flying C6 will be integrated with five preset riding modes, which gives an option to the customers to extract the potential of the motor depending on the various circumstances. The users can also set their custom modes to set their individual requirements of power they want to use. 

There is also an addition of a built-in chipset that smartly detects the presence of a mobile phone and uses it as a smart key for starting and unlocking the vehicle.
