Simple’s Hosur-based Manufacturing Facility

Simple energy, which is an Indian based two-wheeler startup has set up their manufacturing facility in Hosur. The company sold more than 1,800 units in the previous two years, which indicates a significant increase in demand and has shown a considerable growth in sales during the last fiscal year.

In September 2025, the company became India’s first OEMs to locally manufacture heavy rare-earth-free motors, thus achieving a big step towards reducing the burden on imported materials. In 2025, Simple Energy also announced plans to ramp up their production capacity and expand their retail outlets by up to 150 stores by March 2026.

Currently, Simple Energy has a network of 64 stores and has n't achieved their big target, though the significant rise in sales from 10 outlets which opened recently has contributed to strong sales, thus strengthening the presence of the company across the country.

The company’s constantly increasing production capacity, expansion of stores, and focus towards developing in-house technologies will help Simple Energy to make a strong presence in the EV market even after facing few struggles while sourcing the rare-earth materials.
