Simple Energy introduces a patented electric scooter.

Simple Energy, which is a Bengaluru based EV manufacturer are all set to launch a new electric scooter as they have filed for the new design patent and through the sketches, it appears to be a family-focussed electric scooter, thus positioning it beyond sporty scooters of its current lineup. 

Simple Energy Upcoming E-Scooter Design & Platform

The design patent reveals that the new upcoming electric scooter could feature a flat, substantially sized seat and a dedicated back-support exclusively for the pillion. The front houses dual LED headlights with integrated LED DRL and turn-indicators placed into the handlebar-cowl. 

The side panels of the e-scooter are big and imposing, thus it could be equipped with a bigger under-seat storage and is designed with an oval-shaped element which could be a big addition to the upcoming electric scooter or maybe for giving it a differentiated look to give it a specific branding. 

The upcoming Simple Energy family-based electric scooter could be engineered on a completely new crafted platform, but the company has not revealed any technical details regarding that. Once launched, this new electric scooter could go against the likes of popular e-scooters like Ather Rizta, Hero Vida VX2 and the TVS iQube. 

However the in-depth technical details will be showcased once it comes closer to its launch date. However, it is expected that the family electric scooter could be introduced in the second half of next year.
