Simple Energy has officially launched its new Simple Wave electric scooter in India, complementing its performance-hungry Simple One family. The new Wave is a more practical, family-friendly electric scooter focused on range, boot, comfort and smart technology. The biggest highlight is the choice of four battery packs ranging from 2.2 kWh to 5 kWh with claimed IDC range from 110 km to as much as 243 km. 

The top-spec version also gets a 90 km/h top speed and can accelerate from 0-40 km/h in 3.3 seconds. Simple Energy has also packed the scooter with a 7-inch TFT display, connected features, traction control and a Gen 3 Battery Management System.
