Tata Motors has declared a price increase of up to Rs 25,000 on EVs & ICE powertrains
Tata Motors has announced a price increase across its entire lineup of Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) and Electric Vehicles (EV) powertrains, with a steep hike of up to Rs 25,000. The new prices will be applicable from September 2026. The extent of this price increase will depend on the model and variants so that the overall value factor of the cars are maintained.
As per Tata Motors, this price increase is due to the impact of rising input costs and inflation pressures. “Tata Motors is actively striving to mitigate the impact of the price increase; however, some of this hike will ultimately be passed on to consumers.”
Tata Motors’ entire vehicle lineup will be applicable for this price revision. The ICE range includes Tiago, Tigor, Punch, Altroz, Nexon, Curvv, Sierra, Harrier and Safari. The EV lineup comprises Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Punch EV, Nexon EV, Curvv EV, Sierra EV, and Harrier EV.
Earlier, Tata has also revised the prices by 1.5% of their entire lineup. This is the second hike just after the period of two months.
