Tata will unveil the Sierra EV on June 30.
Tata Motors is all set to introduce their much awaited production-spec Sierra EV on June 30, 2026. The electric SUV was first displayed in concept form at the Auto Expo 2020 and once again in Auto Expo 2023. However, the company teased the production-spec version in late 2025 along with the ICE Sierra, showcasing its final look.
Tata Sierra EV Technical Details
The Sierra EV will be positioned above the Curvv EV and below the Harrier EV in Tata’s EV lineup. It will be underpinned by Tata’s acti.ev+ architecture that is also used on the Harrier EV. It could also borrow Harrier EVs battery pack setups, including the 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery pack options.
AdvertisementThe Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Motors, Vivek Srivastava has also confirmed that Sierra EV will be available with an option of RWD and AWD variants. However, Tata will be offering the AWD only with the bigger 75 kWh version, just like the Harrier EV.

Tata Sierra EV Design
Visually, the Sierra EV will include unique design elements that will differentiate from its ICE counterpart. These include a blanked-off grille and revised front bumpers. Tata will also provide ‘.ev’ badging around the car.
The Sierra EV is also expected to retain the ICE version’s triple-screen setup, which includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, and a 12.3-inch passenger screen.
The lower variants could come with a dual-screen setup and a heads-up display. Expected features include a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, premium audio system, and drive modes.

Tata Sierra EV Expected Price
The Sierra EV is expected to be priced between Rs 18 lakh to Rs 25 lakh range, as the newly launched Sierra EV will be competing with the likes of Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, and Maruti e Vitara.
