TVS Orbiter V1 Price Revealed | Prices Start at Rs 49,999 With BaaS

TVS has added a new variant in the Orbiter lineup, called the Orbiter V1. The scooter comes equipped with a smaller 1.8 kWh battery pack and comes as the most cost-effective variant in the brand’s entire EV lineup.

TVS has also introduced Battery-As-A-Service (BaaS) option across its EV scooter portfolio allowing consumers to access their scooters by subscribing to battery usage instead of paying for the full battery cost.

The BaaS Prices start at an introductory price of Rs 862 per month spanning across a timeline of 24, 36, and 60 months. As per TVS, in BaaS, there is no limit on the distance for the users to cover, no matter what the tenure of BaaS plans you are choosing. TVS will also provide a standard warranty of 5 years or 70,000 km, whichever comes first.

TVS Orbiter V1 Battery & Range

The TVS Orbiter V1 is equipped with a 1.8 kWh battery pack offering a claimed IDC range of 86 km on a single charge. For example, the original Orbiter V2 comes with a bigger 3.1 kWh battery pack with an IDC range of 158 Km on a single charge.

As the smaller battery limits the range, it also ensures that the charging time is also reduced as it takes a claimed 2 hours and 20 minutes to recharge from 0-80%, while the larger battery on the Orbiter V2 takes about 4 hours and 10 minutes to recharge.
