Ultraviolette Motors, the Indian performance oriented electric motorcycle manufacturer, has announced plans to launch new electric two-wheelers, expanding their lineup.

The company has showcased their planning over the course of next two years, where they will be launching various other electric two-wheeler segments, as under their “Strategic Product Expansion Plan”.

This Strategic Product Expansion plan will be towards establishing a newer set of products in different segments, concentrating on design, performance and futuristic technology. The aim of Ultraviolette is to develop their Research and Development, in order to build reliable and efficient products in future.

Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-Founder of Ultraviolette explained that the company’s vision on product development is on the emphasis of vertical integration across core systems like Battery technology, Powertrain, and Safety systems. This approach has made a strong foundation for the company and will help to expand the lineup of products across multiple two-wheeler segments.

He explained further that, “The multi-segment approach is aimed to construct cutting-edge technology in a more efficient manner and be able to make it accessible, while maintaining the company’s modern design and advanced engineering.

Ultraviolette: Upcoming New Bike

Last year, the company registered a new design patent for an electric motorcycle that will be designed on the Concept X platform. The design of the new motorcycle will share its design cues from the F77 motorcycle.

So the new bike will be sharing the same frame that would feature an upside-down forks in the front and a monoshock present at the rear. It will also feature disc brakes at both ends along with a dual-channel anti-lock braking system.

The battery pack will be fixed and will be placed where the engine is located in a regular internal-combustion engine.

However the company has not revealed about the wheel size, but there is a possibility that there could be 17-inch wheels integrated into the motorcycle, which are also seen on the F77. The wheels will come with tubeless tyres.
