Ultraviolette has introduced a riding academy that welcomes both electric and ICE motorcycle riders.
Ultraviolette has introduced a dedicated training academy in India, thus bringing its existing Track Attack and Into the Wild programmes under one place. The academy will be providing specific track and off-road training programmes, which includes progressive certification for riders using either electric or ICE motorcycles.
Ultraviolette Academy Three-level Certification
The academy includes programmes specifically tailored for F77 and X-47. While these programmes are centered around Ultraviolette bikes, the new academy is open for all motorcycle riders and not limited to just Ultraviolette motorcycles.
The company has stated that riders using either electric or ICE motorcycles can participate in the training programmes. They are providing the training and certification and not supplying ICE motorcycles as a part of the academy.

Both programmes are concentrated on a three-level certification, with riders required to complete an assessment before promoting to the next level. The course is a perfect blend of classroom instruction with practical sessions at controlled racetracks and off-road training locations.
Level 1: It includes fundamental training techniques, motorcycle control and safety.
Level 2: This level comprises of greater technical expertise
Level 3: This level focuses on advanced techniques and higher intensity riding which is exclusive to track or off-road driving conditions.

Track Attack Programme
This program is a track-oriented programme that will be covering racing lines, braking points, corner entry and exit, throttle control, body positioning, acceleration, track positioning and overtaking techniques. The riders will also be taught track etiquette, flag rules, protective gear and equipment, motorcycle checks and circuit awareness.
Into the Wild Programme
This training puts a special emphasis on motorcycle control across loose and uneven terrains. The overall programme includes body positioning, balance, throttle and brake control, off-road cornering, terrain assessment, obstacle avoidance, motorcycle recovery and trail riding.
These two programmes are separate, as Track Attack is based on circuit riding and Into the Wild focusses on off-road riding, but both use the same Level 1 to Level 3 training and certification framework.
