Bengaluru based Ultraviolette Automotive has started delivering its all-electric X47 Crossover, only weeks after its introduction. The company which is known for producing performance electric motorcycles like F77 is now entering into a new segment with the X47. The X47 is completely manufactured and designed in India, showcasing Ultraviolette’s engineering capabilities.

The X47 garnered more than 3,000 bookings in the first 24 hours of its pre-booking period, with huge response in the early hours. For Ultraviolette, it is quite rewarding as they were targeting consumers which are more performance oriented, however the X47 is a strategic move by the company towards the mainstream electric two-wheeler segment. 

Ultraviolette X47 Pricing and Variants

The Ultraviolette X47 is available with four different variants to choose from and is priced in a range of Rs 2.49 Lakh and Rs 3.99 lakh (Ex-Showroom). The base Original and Original + variant comes equipped with a 7.1 kWh battery pack, followed by Recon and Recon + with a substantially bigger 10.3 kWh battery pack.

Deliveries are commenced in selected major Indian cities as the company has stated that production will be increased gradually to meet the growing demand. 

However, Ultraviolette has not revealed the specific city-wise numbers, the phased rollout ensures a high priority will be given for making seamless early deliveries, thus enhancing customer experience as volume increases afterwards.
