V-Green and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) have entered into a joint agreement to co-develop electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS) at HPCL retail outlets across various locations in India.

This agreement states that V-Green will be working with HPCL’s retail outlet network in order to install EV charging infrastructure. Talking about HPCL, it is a state-owned oil and gas company in India, with more than 24,400 retail outlets across the country and more than 5,300 EV charging stations under its HP e-Charge brand.

This agreement is specifically made according to India's accelerated transition to electric transportation. HPCL’s current retail network will be supporting diverse installation of EV charging stations nationwide. V-Green is currently managing around 1,50,000 charging points and working with different partners in order to expand its charging presence.
