Bajaj has introduced its most affordable electric scooter, the Chetak C2501, priced at Rs 91,399.
Bajaj Auto has launched the next generation Chetak, which is one of the most affordable electric scooters in India. The Chetak C25 has been launched at an introductory price at Rs 91,399 (Ex-Showroom, Bengaluru). Bajaj has positioned the Chetak C25 below the 30 and 35 series across its portfolio.
The new model features the same familiar design of the Chetak range in a more modern yet sleek shape and provides a range of colour schemes integrated with sporty decals.
Bajaj Chetak C25 Design
The Chetak C25 follows the Chetak’s iconic retro-inspired design language and incorporates full-metal body construction, and features the same visual identity across its entire lineup. It also features the same round LED headlamp with signature horseshoe graphic, and ice-cube styled taillights at the rear.
The pillion includes an aluminium cast grab handle shaped with a parametric pattern, which takes inspiration from the Chetak logo, adding extra grip and control for the occupant sitting at the back.

Bajaj Chetak C25 Battery & Power
The newly launched Chetak C25 electric scooter comes powered with a single 2.5 kWh battery pack providing a significant IDC-certified range of 113 Km on a single charge. The NMC battery is attached to the floor and can be charged from 0-80% in 2 hours 25 minutes, ensuring a top speed of 55 kmph.

The C25 electric scooter comes with a variety of features which includes a colour LCD speedometer, with control knobs placed in separate consoles and connected features with call accept/reject and music play/pause functionality. The scooter also gets telescopic front suspension and a front disc brake, while the rear houses a drum brake.
It also comes with a 650 mm seat length and 25 litres of under-seat storage, which is big enough to store a full-size helmet. The power of the Chetak C25 electric scooter can be tapped via two ride modes, Eco and Sports. There is also an addition of a reverse mode and hill-hold assist for added convenience.

As per Bajaj, the C25 can climb a 19% incline even with carrying a pillion with it. The Chetak C25 has a kerb weight of 108 kg, which is around 22 kg lighter than the current Chetak. The seat height measures 763 mm with a significant ground clearance of 170 mm.
The battery is IP67 rated and provides protection against water and dust. The turning radius is 1,825 mm with a 1,225 mm wheelbase.
