The Hero Vida Ubex electric motorcycle concept is set to make its debut at EICMA 2025.

Vida, which is a subsidiary of Hero MotoCorp, is participating in the EICMA 2025, which is scheduled to start in the first week of November. Vida has also showcased apart from its existing lineup of products and prototypes displayed earlier as it is all set to introduce a new electric motorcycle concept, called as the Ubex. 

Vida Ubex Concept: Expected Design and Features

The image showcased on instagram only provided a glimpse of the silhouette of the upcoming motorcycle, offering limited information on the expected features and design. However it is expected that the Ubex concept will take the shape of a naked motorcycle featuring a USD fork, monoshock, and disc brakes present at the both ends with completely redesigned alloy wheels. 

The image confirms that the upcoming e-motorcycle will be powered by a mid-drive motor with the battery placed at the housing of a conventional engine. 

However, the company has not revealed the exact technical specifications of the upcoming motorcycle but it is expected that the brand is working with Zero Motorcycles on a multiple number of products targeting the 350 cc segment that could be introduced in 2026-27. Whether this concept will be a part of those motorcycles is still unknown. 

The brand name ‘Ubex’ is derived from the ‘Urbex’, which means urban exploration, thus showcasing the motorcycle’s urban-commuting intentions. Currently, if we analyse the electric motorcycle market in India, several brands are adding new electric motorcycles in their existing lineup. 

The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 is currently in the final development stage with a scheduled launch in the early months of 2026. In addition, Ather Energy, in which Hero MotoCorp owns a significant share, is working on a new Zenith platform which will be underpinning budget-segment consumers in the 125-300cc segments.

There are also several possibilities that the upcoming Vida Ubex could offer similar powertrains and performance in a similar segment. However, the exact details will be only cleared once it is showcased at the EICMA next week.
