MG Windsor EV crosses 50,000 sales milestone, becomes India's best-selling fastest EV to achieve this feat.

MG Windsor EV has become India's first EV to cross the 50,000 sales milestone, as this has placed the JSW MG motors at the top position in the electric vehicle segment. The MG Windsor EV has also become the fastest electric car to achieve this milestone which just shows the dominance of the Windsor in the EV segment. 

MG Windsor EV crosses 50,000 Sales

MG introduced the Windsor EV in India last year and since then it has become a favourite choice among EV enthusiasts. The Windsor EV is available with an option of two battery packs, a standard 38 kWh and bigger 52.9 kWh battery pack. The top of the line Pro variant also comes with advanced features such as Level 2 ADAS suite. 

The company has also provided an option of Battery-As-A-Service (BaaS), thus positioning the Windsor at a cost-effective price of Rs 9.99 lakh (Ex-showroom).

MG Windsor EV Battery & Performance

The MG Windsor generates a maximum power of 134 BHP and 200 Nm of peak torque. It also comes with various creature comforts such as reclined rear seats, and a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system. 

The Windsor EV faces stiff competition and goes against the likes of Tata Nexon EV, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, and Hyundai Creta Electric.
