Xiaomi has confirmed to bring its electric sporty sedan, the SU7 Ultra to Gran Turismo 7, marking the first presence of the brand in the racing simulation franchise. This announcement was made in collaboration with Polyphony Digital, which is the game’s developer and subsidiary company of Sony Interactive Entertainment. 

The Xiaomi SU7 will be participating as a part of Gran Turismo 7’s update 1.67, which will go live on January 29, 2026 specifically for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Once the update is live at 2:00 PM, players around the world will have the access to drive the SU7 ultra across the game’s circuits. 

Xiaomi’s First Virtual Appearance

The SU7 Ultra in the real world is the flagship product in Xiaomi’s EV lineup. It is powered by Xiaomi’s in-house developed Hyper Tri-Motor setup, integrated with dual V8 electric motors and a single V6 electric motor.

POWER: This setup generates a combined power of 1,548 HP and a peak torque of 1,770 Nm of torque. Power is channelised via 800-Volt electric architecture, which allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/hr in 1.98 seconds. 

In addition to its performance-oriented specifications, the SU7 Ultra boasts a CLTC driving range of 630 Km on a single charge and facilitates rapid DC charging, claiming to go from 10% to 80% quickly in just 11 minutes under ideal driving conditions.
