The top-tier MG Windsor Pro variant has seen a price increase of Rs 21,200.

JSW MG Motors India has made changes to the pricing of the top-tier Pro variant of the Windsor EV, known for its extensive features and long-range capabilities in the Windsor collection. Going by the increasing demand, the company has increased the prices exclusively for the top model. 

With the price hike, the updated price for the MG Windsor Essence Pro is Rs 18.31 Lakh (Ex-Showroom), thus with a significant price hike of Rs 21,200 than the previous price. 

MG Windsor Pro Prices

Apart from the top Essence model, the prices for all other variants are the same. The MG Windsor lineup begins at Rs 10 Lakh for the standard models. On the other hand, the Windsor Pro series starts at Rs 12.25 Lakh and goes up from there. The Windsor EV is categorized into four variants such as Excite, Exclusive, Essence, and Essence Pro. 

MG Windsor Pro Battery & Performance

The MG Windsor Essence Pro boasts a comprehensive set of technological features and provides a significant range. The Pro variant comes with a larger 52.9 kWh battery pack with a significant range of 449 Km on a single charge as compared to a smaller 332 Km on full charge coming from the 38 kWh battery pack. 

Windsor gets a single electric motor setup that produces 134 Bhp and a peak torque of 200 Nm. Featurewise, the MG Windsor Essence Pro is equipped with Level 2 ADAS which includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, autonomous emergency braking, front collision warning, and smart headlamp control. 

The high-end variant includes vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) options, along with an electrically powered tailgate and a contemporary dual-tone black and ivory upholstery.

MG Windsor Pro Competitions 

The MG Windsor Pro is also available with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option, as prices for the BaaS is available at Rs 13.31 Lakh (Ex-Showroom) under BaaS, followed by a battery rental price of Rs 4.50 Per Km. 

The Windsor Pro is an attractive option in this segment and will be going against the likes of Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, and Tata Nexon EV.
