2026 Citroen eC3 Price Revealed | Launched at Rs 10.25 lakh

Citroen has introduced the updated eC3 electric hatchback, now called eC3X. The eC3x is launched at an introductory price of Rs 10.25 lakh (Ex-Showroom), which is around Rs 1.74 lakh cheaper than the previous model. Citroen has also provided an option of Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) pricing scheme at an upfront cost of Rs 6.29 lakh with a battery rental of Rs 2.26 per Km.

The 2026 eC3X is crafted with new exterior, interior and convenience features and is available with three new variants: Live, Live (O) and Shine.

2026 Citroen eC3X: What’s New? 

The new updated eC3X comes with new projector LED headlights borrowed from the ICE-powered model, redesigned 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and electrically adjustable and foldable outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs). The new eC3X retains V-shaped LED DRLs, LED taillights, black cladding on the wheel arches and body halogen front fog lamps. 

The bumpers are also taken from the front and rear bumper designs are identical and feature faux skid plates. On the inside, the dashboard layout is the same as the older model. The 2026 eC3X features dual-tone blue and beige cabin themes. The seats also come with leatherette upholstery, which is a significant upgrade in order to make the interiors more premium.

2026 Citroen eC3X Features 

Citroen has upgraded the cabin by a new 7-inch coloured digital driver’s display, auto-dimming IRVM, dashcam, 6-speaker JBL audio system, and a wireless phone charger. However, the dashcam and JBL speakers come as an accessory. 

It also features 6 airbags in the top-spec variant, while the lower variants also come with 4 airbags. The EV also comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, manual AC, rear wiper and a rear parking camera. 

2026 Citroen eC3X Battery Pack 

The 2026 eC3X will be powered by the same 29.2 kWh battery pack with a claimed MIDC certified range of 325 Km, around 79 Km more than before. The battery will be a front-axle mounted electric motor that generates 57 Hp and 143 Nm of peak torque, and can achieve from 0-60 km/hr in just 6.8 seconds, before maxing out at 107 km/hr. 

However, an AC charger can recharge the eC3X from 10-100% in 10 hours and 30 Mins, while a DC fast charge takes 57 mins to charge the battery from 10-80 mins. The Citroen eC3 will go against the likes of Tata Tiago EV and MG Comet EV.
