BYD introduces the new Atto 3 facelift

BYD has revealed the new facelift version of Atto 3 officially. However, they have not introduced the interiors, but the exteriors are heavily updated and now features a more advanced ADAS functionality.
BYD has not said anything about the launch dates, but it will be launching soon in India. Let’s discuss the updates in detail.
BYD Atto 3 Design
The facelifted version now gets sporty styling compared to the previous version. The front end now houses a larger trapezoidal air dam styled by slimmer and sportier air intakes for better handling and control.
The headlights are the same in design and it also gets the same distinctive chrome-plated panel between them. BYD has updated the tail-lamps with new LED signatures with dynamic turn signals.
The new Atto 3 gets newly styled 18-inch alloy wheels. The D pillars are now partially blacked-out to give a more upmarket look with an addition of new roof spoiler, dual brake lights, and a redesigned rear bumper.
BYD Atto 3 ADAS Features
The Atto 3 ADAS features are now upgraded and is integrated with “God’s Eye C” ADAS system, which uses three camera blocks mounted below the windshield, four surround view cameras, five long-range cameras, 5 radars, 12 ultrasonic radars and 29 sensors present all around the vehicle.
BYD says that the new facelift of Atto 3 has 10 high-speed navigation scenarios and comprises six intelligent parking modes.
BYD Atto 3 facelift Battery & Performance
BYD has retained the batteries from the previous model and mechanically, everything is the same as before. The India-spec Atto 3 gets a 60.5 kWh LFP battery producing around 204 HP and 310 Nm of torque through a single motor.
Atto 3 will also get the smaller 49.9 kWh battery pack that also generates the same power figures, but gets a lower 345 Km of WLTP range compared to the 420 Km of WLTP range in the 60.5 kWh version.
