BYD Denza India Launch on November 13: Z9 GT & D9 Specs, Price, and Launch Date 

BYD is all set to launch its premium electric vehicle brand, Denza on November 13, in order to dominate the high-end EV segment. Denza is all set to enter India with its two highly anticipated flagship models, the Z9 GT and D9 MPV positioned in the Rs 80 lakh mark to Rs 1.2 Crore. 

Denza Z9 GT Technical Specs 

The Z9 GT is the flagship product under the Denza lineup and is expected to be priced between Rs 1.2 Crore and Rs 1.5 Crore, as this all-electric performance car is specifically developed for sheer performance. 

POWER: The Z9 GT will be powered by a substantial 122.5 kWh battery pack, integrated with a triple-motor all-wheel drive setup. Together, it generates a combined power output of 1,156 Hp. It can accelerate from 0-100 kph in staggering 2.7 seconds and has a claimed top-speed of 270 km/hr. 

The Z9 also comes with various advanced tech on offer: 

• Rapid Charging Speeds: It supports up to staggering speeds of up to 1,500 kW, as it can recharge the battery from 10% to 97% in an impressive nine minutes. 
• Compass Turn 360°: The car can also perform a complete 360-Degree rotation from standstill. 
• Crab Walk: It can also park seamlessly, as it has the ability to move sideways, thus the first electric car to do parallel parking. 
• Exceptional Range: Despite generating so much power, it provides a very respectable WLTP-claimed range of 600 Km. 

Denza D9 Technical Specs 

The premium D9 electric MPV will be going against the likes of established rivals like the Toyota Vellfire and the MG M9. It is expected to be priced in the Rs 90 lakh price segment, as this luxury MPV is specifically developed for first-class travel and smoother rides.

POWER: The D9 electric MPV will be powered by a 103 kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor, as the D9 generates 313 Hp of maximum power output and peak torque of 360 Nm. It also provides a WLTP-certified range of 520 Km. It will also support up to 200 kW DC fast charging. 

The interiors of the D9 is equipped with: 

• Captain’s Chairs: The second row comes with fully electric captain’s seats equipped with heating, ventilation, and dedicated massage functions. 
• Premium Comfort: Expect the top-spec model to come with leather upholstery, ambient lighting, and three-zone climate control system in order to provide comfortability on long journeys.
