Trevel has introduced an electric vehicle cab-hailing service in Gurugram.

Trevel, which is an electric mobility startup company formed by Sahil Jindal (Managing Director of the Jindal Group), along with Mishu Alhuwalia, Rishi Raj Kochhar, and Nagarjun K R, has introduced its EV cab-hailing facilities in Gurugram. The company is planning to expand its electric fleet to 500 commercial electric cabs by 2026. 

What does Trevel Offer?

Trevel will provide a variety of services which include city travel, airport transfers, corporate mobility, and hourly rentals with outstation facilities planned for later release. Currently, Trevel follows the approach of a self-managed fleet model where vehicles are owned and managed by the company itself, and drivers are employed on a monthly basis. 

The operating model is centrally managed and is catered to fulfill the needs of individual commuters as well as enterprise clients. The company is also planning to expand its operations beyond Gurugram as an integral part of its growth strategy.The company states that they have also brought a zero-cancellation policy and on-time service compliment backed by route planning and scheduling systems. All the vehicles include dash cameras to monitor driver behaviour by ensuring safety of passengers. The vehicles follow all the operational parameters, along with GPS-equipped live location-sharing functionality for passengers.
