BYD Sealion 7 EV Battery Warranty

BYD provides a comprehensive battery warranty on Sealion 7’s high-voltage blade batteries for 8-year or 1,60,000 km, whichever comes first. The vehicle also includes 6-year roadside assistance and a standard warranty of 6-year or 1,50,000 km, whichever comes first.

Additionally, BYD also provides warranty coverage on the low-voltage battery for 6 years or 1,50,000 Km. The warranty provides protection against defects and guarantees a minimum battery capacity of 70% State-of-Health (SOH). The warranty is also easily transferable to the different owners. 

The Sealion 7 is equipped with LFP (Lithium-Ion Phosphate) which is more reliable than conventional NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt), thus reducing the probability of a replacement.
