The Porsche Cayenne EV is scheduled to launch in late 2025, boasting more than 1,000 BHP. What can we anticipate?

Porsche has reduced their pace for EV revolution, due to change in global demand for EVs, but the automaker is focussing on enhancing their EV lineup by introducing an all-electric Cayenne, which could be showcased at the end of 2025. The Cayenne will be provided with SUV and Coupe body style options.
Porsche will be positioning the Cayenne EV above the Macan EV and will be sold as an option with its ICE powered version. It will be coming with a totally new design language underpinned on an exclusive EV platform, available with rear and all-wheel drive configurations, followed by a sporty Turbo model.
Porsche Cayenne EV Design
Visually, the Cayenne EV adopts a muscular presence as compared to the smoother design of the ICE-powered versions. At the front, it gets slim LED headlights, which has a striking resemblance with the Macan EV. This electric SUV also features four horizontal DRLs that also act as indicators.
The Cayenne EV also gets EV specific design elements such as closed off front fascia and an active lower grille, resembling the Porsche 911. The rear design takes inspiration from its smaller sibling but features big yet imposing edges that provides it a bigger road presence.
The taillights are incorporated with an LED bar that stretches across the liftgate. Other highlights include a mean-looking bumper and diffuser. As per the latest sightings on the Nurburgring, it is confirmed that the Cayenne EV will be housing aero elements across wider arches with a newly designed bumper. Apart from this, there is an inclusion of a large fixed rear wing distinguishing the Cayenne Turbo Electric.
Porsche Cayenne EV Digital Cockpit
On the inside, Cayenne EV provides a Porsche like ambience as it has interiors which feature multiple displays offering a more tech-inspired driving experience. The cockpit also gets a wide display specifically for the infotainment touchscreen, curved digital cluster, and an exclusive screen for the front-two passenger.
The center console also gets a separate HVAC touchscreen panel, which displays the AC temperature.
Porsche Cayenne EV to Produce more than 1,000 BHP
However, the company has not confirmed the official power figures, but the company says that their Cayenne EV will be generating more than 1,000 BHP, which is only restricted to Turbo variants, followed by the base and mid-spec variants churning out between 400-600 BHP.
The Cayenne EV will also be the first EV to feature wireless battery charging and will have the capability to offer 600 km of range on a single charge, thus revolutionizing the world of EVs and setting a benchmark of standards for high-performance luxury electric SUVs. The Porsche Cayenne EV could be launched globally in 2026 and will be also available with pure-ICE and hybrid configurations.
