Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 India Launch: Full Specs & Details

Royal Enfield is a brand which has its own legacy as their story started from 1942 WWII, where the British army needed parachute-droppable motorbike and RE made their first 125cc, ultralight machine which was nicknamed as “Flying Flea” by soldiers because of its compact size, agile, and robust build quality.

This legacy is continued after 80 years as Royal Enfield is all set to introduce their first electric bike, the Flying Flea C6 to the Indian market on April 10, 2026. However, the company trademarked the “Flying Flea” back in the EU in 2020. Let’s discuss some of the important highlights of the Flying Flea who are all set to debut tomorrow. 

Flying Flea C6 Design

What’s impressive about Flying Flea C6 is its design as it takes inspiration from 1930s motorcycles, giving it a prestigious look. The forged aluminium girder fork is exactly similar to the motorcycles of that era. The magnesium battery casting features a stunning fin design making a wing shape, visualising a functional art.

It also features a modern 3.5-inch round TFT touchscreen in a retro look alongside a forged aluminium exoskeleton, which bears resemblance from the original drop cage. This unique design has even won the Red Dot Design Concept Award 2025.

What’s interesting is the Flying Flea’s slim body shape which is totally opposite to the RE design philosophy of the Classic 350, Meteor, or Bullet. However, according to the company, this slimness is deliberately designed which resembles with the original Flying Flea’s paraschute-drop philosophy.

Additional Features: There are a lot of advanced technological features on offer which includes Bidirectional Crawl Mode, dual-channel ABS, Google-based Navigation, Wireless Phone Charging, and OTA updates. Users will also have the option of Share my location, tamper alerts, Incognito Mode, and Tip-over alert.

Flying Flea Collaboration with Stark Future

The Flying Flea C6 is not entirely a RE product as Stark Future from Spain has heavily invested in the making of its technology. Stark Future is known for its Varg, which is one of the world’s best electric motocross bikes. RE has done a strategic investment in Stark Future from 2022. It has a team of 200+ engineers across the UK and India with more than 28+ patents registered for Flying Flea alone.

Royal Enfield along with collaboration has also engineered a completely new dedicated Qualcomm chip and a custom Vehicle Control Unit.

Competition: The C6 will go against the likes of the Ola Roadster Pro (₹1.99–2.49L), Revolt RV400 (₹1.39L), Matter Aera (₹1.83L), and the costly Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 (₹2.99–3.99L). Royal Enfield is also working on developing the overall infrastructure with 2,000+ service touchpoints, premium build quality, and heritage design. 

Is the Flying Flea C6 Value for Money?

According to our analysis, a metro or semi-metro consumer who is a RE enthusiast and wants an electric motorcycle for city commuting and wants to transition to electric motorcycle. It is positioned perfectly to these types of consumers who want a stunningly crafted electric bike and a brand story over a spec-sheet list.

The Flying Flea C6 is expected to be priced at Rs 2-2.5 lakh and is officially launching in India around April 10, 2026. If the official prices are within our estimated price range, it will be a testament of pure value and could become a segment leader.

Royal Enfield will be developing an electric lineup under the Flying Flea brand and is also expected to launch the Flying Flea S6 scrambler coming on the same platform.
