Honda has finally revealed its much anticipated all-electric motorcycle, called the WN7. The company has also displayed the e-motorcycle at the Fun concept at EICMA 2024 and also teased it in Europe earlier this month. Currently, it will be launched only in the European markets, followed by the public launch by revealing the technical specifications at EICMA 2025.

Honda WN7: Company’s First Exclusive E-Motorcycle

According to Honda, the WN7 name is derived from three elements, ‘W’ stands for the development theme of wind, ‘N’ is derived from naked motorcycle design, and ‘7’ stands for the power class it comes from.

Visually, the Honda WN7 adopts a slim, minimalistic design language, which was earlier displayed as 2024 concept at EICMA and is powered by a fixed lithium-ion battery pack returning a claimed range of 130 Km on a single charge. If we talk about the charging options, the WN7 will feature CCS2 rapid charging, which can charge the batteries from 20-80% in just 30 minutes of time.

There is also an option of a 6 kVA home wall-box charger which can charge the batteries from 0-100% in the span of just three hours. The WN7 comes with a weight of 217 Kg and is mounted with a 18 kW water-cooled motor that is capable of delivering a performance at par with a 600 CC ICE bike, generating a peak torque of 100 Nm, as this kind of torque is generally seen in litre class machines.

Honda will be also providing an option of 11 kW variant which will be concentrated towards A1 license holders in Europe. Coming to the feature list, the electric naked e-motorcycle comes loaded with tech and features including a 5-inch TFT display with RoadSync smartphone pairing and EV-focussed menus, followed by all-LED lighting.

It will also come with a single-sided swingarm that was earlier displayed at the concept. There will be a total of three colour shades available with the WN7 which includes gloss black with copper elements, matte black and grey.

Honda has also revealed the prices for European markets, with prices starting for the WN7 at GBP 12,999 (Approx Rs 15.56 Lakh), with deliveries commencing after its formal introduction and reveal of technical specifications at EICMA 2025.
