Kinetic Watts & Volts collaborates with Jio Things to advance connected EV technology.
Kinetic Watts & Volts Ltd. (KWV), which is the subsidiary of Kinetic Engineering Ltd., has collaborated with Jio Things Limited, subsidiary of Jio Platforms for advanced technology. This agreement states that Kinetic’s upcoming electric two-wheeler models will be utilizing Jio Things connected vehicle and IoT solutions.
Under this strategic alliance, there will be addition of various features including voice-assisted vehicle functionalities, smart digital instrument clusters, and IoT-based connectivity across KWV’s EV lineup. These technologies will be working towards vehicle monitoring, diagnostics, and digital interaction with users and commercial fleet operators.
This partnership will lead to the development of connected mobility equipped with real-time data display, telematics, cloud-based analytics, and infotainment applications. Jio Things IoT platform will be the foundation for hardware, connectivity, cloud infrastructure, remote device control, and aftermarket availability, which will be integrated into Kinetic EV scooters.

All these connected technologies will debut with Kinetic’s upcoming two-wheeler lineup by offering a standardized digital system across models. According to companies, the collaboration will further help in accelerating EV adoption, providing vehicle data analytics and fleet management via digital monitoring systems.
This announcement is the key statement from Kinetic Group’s major shift towards electric mobility and integration of advanced connected systems integrated with voice-based interfaces with various digital functionalities available across the entire Kinetic’s EV portfolio and majority of electric scooters across the country.
