Mahindra Vision S Interior Details Revealed in Exclusive Spy Shots

A close-to-production test mule of the Mahindra Vision S was spotted testing on the roads of India, which showcases the interiors of the upcoming SUV. The spy shots reveal that the Vision S could borrow various design elements from Mahindra’s other SUVs like Thar, Thar Roxx, and XUV 7XO. 

However, the exterior of the SUV was heavily camouflaged, which is expected to get the same design elements in previous spy shots. 

Mahindra Vision S Interior Details: What’s New? 

The new spy shots reveal the automatic version of the SUV based on the Vision S concept, as it is clearly visible by the drive selector on the center console. The cabin also comes with a two-spoke steering wheel that looks similar to the Mahindra XUV 7XO. 

The infotainment touchscreen is the same 10.25-inch unit used in the Thar 3-door and Thar Roxx, while the climate control is also the same unit used in both the models. The protruding AC vents are straight-away lifted from the Vision S concept. There is also an inclusion of a digital driver’s display featuring a binnacle. 

The center console gets the driver selector stalk, an electronic parking brake and some storage spaces. The seats come with black fabric upholstery with contrasting white stitching. However, the production-spec SUV could feature a different upholstery.  

Mahindra Vision S Interior Design 

The test mule was heavily camouflaged, but some exterior design elements can be clearly seen. Visually, the SUV gets a grille with vertical struts and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. It also gets a tail-gate mounted spare wheel which will open more boot space, as it could also be attached to underbody, given its compact dimensions.

The SUV also features Thar Roxx like circular headlights equipped with projector elements. However, previous test versions hinted at flush-type door handles and a panoramic sunroof. 

Mahindra Vision S Expected Launch 

The Vision S-based SUV will be underpinned by Mahindra’s NU_IQ platform, which has the ability to support multiple powertrain options such as petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric powertrains. However, the company is planning to introduce it in 2027.
