Mahindra to introduce six new EV models over the next 5 years.
Mahindra is all set to launch a bunch of new electric SUVs for the Indian market over the next 5 years. The company has confirmed to launch a total of 16 new models between FY2027 and FY2031, solidifying its position in the ICE and electric vehicle market.
This announcement was made during Mahindra’s Q4 FY2026 by the Executive Director and CEO of the company' s auto and farm divisions, Rajesh Jejurikar.

Out of 16 launches scheduled, 10 will be ICE SUVs and 6 will be electric SUVs. According to Mahindra, seven of these products are already in the list of its earlier roadmap announced in 2024, while nine are completely new.

The company still has three EVs pending from its earlier roadmap. Apart from this, Mahindra will be launching three additional EVs. This shows that the company is still expanding its EV lineup across the country.
New SUVs to be based on NU_IQ Platform
One of the most important parts of Mahindra’s strategy is the new NU_IQ multi-energy platform. As the name suggests, it will support multiple powertrains and the first SUV is expected to launch in 2027 and will derive inspiration from Vision.S concept.
Mahindra is also planning to introduce a pure electric SUV taking inspiration from the Vision.T concept, and will be the electric counterpart to the Thar Roxx. This model could launch in 2026.
