Mahindra has just launched a teaser revealing the details of the Vision SXT, slated to launch on August 15. The Vision SXT will be engineered on the brand’s all-new platform, which is capable of designing cars with multiple powertrains including petrol, diesel, hybrid and all-electric.

Mahindra Vision SXT New Design Highlights

The newest teaser has provided a sneak peek at what might be the possible body design of the forthcoming Vision SXT concept. It has provided the details of the rear end of the concept and showcased a pickup truck-like load area with the addition of spare tyres attached to the back.

This has given rise to speculation that it could be an evolution of the Global Pik Up Concept showcased in 2023, which also shares the similar design details. However there are various differences as instead of the full tail gate panel which is used for the opening of the load bed, this one presents a see-through area.

Other design highlights include slim tail lamp units, flared wheel arches, and a big imposing rear bumper.

Another interesting fact is that the earlier teasers of the Vision SXT have striking similarities with the Vision T concept, which is also scheduled to be introduced on August 15. The typical design features consist of a flat creased bonnet, side latches, a protruding front bumper, and angular flared wheel arches, all of which are standard in both design concepts.

Another teaser pointed to a sturdy suspension configuration featuring all-terrain tires, alluding to the rugged aesthetics of the concept.

Mahindra has not revealed the exact designs for the Vision SXT concept. However, its design does have a striking resemblance with the Vision T, suggesting that it could be another addition to the Thar lineup, but as these are just speculations and need an official confirmation. Thus we are waiting for 15 August for the final reveal of the SXT concept and other three concepts with the new platform vision.
