Omega Seiki Mobility unveils the 'Swayamgati Cargo', an autonomous electric cargo three-wheeler at a price of Rs 4.15 lakh.

Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) introduced the Swayamgati Cargo, which is an autonomous electric cargo three-wheeler at a starting price of Rs 4.15 lakh. The company has started accepting pre-bookings and deliveries are scheduled to start at the beginning of this quarter.

Swayamgati Cargo is underpinned on dedicated Swayamgati passenger autonomy platform and is exclusively made for industrial parks, manufacturing facilities, airports, SEZs, warehousing hubs, gated campuses, and smart city commercial sites. 

As per the company, the vehicle is integrated with an electric drivetrain featuring an autonomous system that comprises Lidar, GPS, multi-sensor navigation, obstacle detection for up to 6 meters, geofencing routing, and remote fleet management. 

It can also run on pre-mapped routes which are catered according to the commercial sites and provides a significant range of 120 Km on a single charge. OSM will be focussing on installing 1,500 autonomous cargo and passenger units over the course of next 24 months.

The vehicle will be produced at the company’s OSM facility situated in Faridabad and Chakan (Pune), with a capacity of manufacturing autonomous passenger and cargo models. The company also operates a service network of more than 200 dealerships specifically for maintenance and operation support.
