Honda is planning to diversify its lineup and is planning to introduce two new SUVs before the end of the financial year. The company will be soon launching its first electric car, the 0 Alpha concept based electric SUV and a facelift of the Elevate, as both have been spotted testing extensively on the Indian roads. 

Honda 0 Alpha EV 

Honda Cars India will be introducing their first electric SUV in India by March 2027, as it is expected to be launched around the 2027 Bharat Mobility Auto Expo. The 0 Alpha electric SUV is currently in development stage and undergoing tests across different Indian terrains and road conditions.

The 0 Alpha SUV will be locally manufactured at Honda’s Tapukara manufacturing facility in Rajasthan. The close-to-production model is expected to share similar dimensions with a wheelbase of around 2,700-2,800 mm. 

The 0 Alpha electric SUV will be positioned as a C-segment electric SUV and will go against the likes of Tata Sierra EV, Vinfast VF6, Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq and others in the similar category. Apart from this, the Elevate will also receive a variety of interior changes such as ventilated front seats, and a 360-Degree surround-view camera.
