The upcoming Tata Tigor facelift’s exterior design has been revealed via patent images. The changes include the Tiago-inspired exterior design. Tata Motors had announced in May 2025 that they will be introducing a total of four facelifts until March 2026. The two of them were ICE and EV versions of the Tiago, while the other two will be Tigor and Tigor EV facelifted models.

2026 Tata Tigor EV Design Patent: What’s new?

Looking at the design patent, the front fascia of the updated Tigor EV will get slimmer headlights and connecting bar at the center finished with a gloss black, just like the one on Tata Tiago. The new bumpers are cleaner in design and feature large air vents and pixel-style LED fog lamps housings.

The side profile gets new alloy wheel design, but the wheel sizes will remain the same 15-inches. However, it will get prominent protrusions highlighted on the wheel arches at the black cladding. Overall the design patent hints at a notchback-style inspired tapering roofline.

The rear will get connected tail-lights as seen in the facelifted Tata Tiago EV. However, the rear bumper is simply designed with reflectors placed on both the sides and housings for the reversing lamp placed at the center.

INTERIORS: Tata has not revealed the exact interior images of the facelifted Tigor, but expect the design and features to be retained from the Tiago. Thus, the compact electric sedan will be complemented with a new interior cabin design including a freestanding infotainment system and semi-digital driver’s display.

2026 Tata Tigor EV Battery

As the Tigor will be underpinned on the same platform as Tiago, the 2026 Tigor EV is expected to borrow Tiago EV’s battery and electric motors, which includes a 19.2 kWh battery pack with a 61 Hp electric motor, and a larger 24 kWh battery with 75 Hp electric motor.

It could also come with improved charging times. However, the claimed range could vary from Tiago EV’s 226 Km to 285 Km, because of different body styles.
