Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 Electric Bike Teased Ahead of EICMA: Launch, Specs & Price 

Royal Enfield has officially teased its much-awaited Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 electric bike ahead of EICMA. For enthusiasts, looking for the next electric motorcycle from the brand, it is a perfect combination of vintage scrambler integrating with sustainable mobility. 

Flying Flea S6 Design 

The Flying Flea S6 is heavily redesigned without sacrificing the brand’s signature aesthetics. It will be the second electric motorcycle in the Flying Flea lineup, followed by the C6, this comes with a rugged and trail-ready design language. 

Visually, the S6 looks like a classic scrambler as it comes with a high-mounted front fender, a tall and slim flat seat, and wide handlebars integrated with knuckle guards. It also houses signature circular retro headlight and dual-purpose tyres. 

Flying Flea S6 Expected Battery & Range 

While the design is quite minimalistic, the powertrain will be entirely new as the Flying Flea S6 is expected to come with a sportier mid-mounted electric motor instead of the conventional hub motor, which powers the wheel via a chain and a massive rear sprocket. 

What does this mean for your daily ride?  

• Users can expect a smooth yet instant torque delivery that is perfect for zipping through urban traffic or driving through mountainous trails. In terms of performance, Royal Enfield is targeting the mass market, as the output is expected to be in the range of 125 cc to 150 cc ICE-powered motorcycles. 

Flying Flea S6 Hardware 

Royal Enfield will be providing highly advanced tech and chassis for the S6. Here is what comes packed with the electric motorcycle: 

SUSPENSION: It will be riding on inverted (USD) front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock to effectively handle broken roads.

Purpose-Oriented Wheels: The bike is equipped with 19-inch and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheel setup, featuring CEAT Energy Ride MX3 F dual-purpose tyres. 

Modern Tech Suite: It comes with features such as a circular TFT touchscreen display that comes with an e-Sim and Bluetooth connectivity. You also get navigation functionality, over-the-air (OTA) updates and remote vehicle diagnostics. 

Rider Modes: In order to keep the instant torque in check, the S6 comes with multiple riding modes, traction control, and switchable ABS on its front and rear disc brakes. 

Flying Flea S6 Expected Price and Launch Date

While the teaser is already building the hype ahead of the EICMA, the Flying Flea S6 is expected to launch in the market towards the end of 2026, or near 2027. 

If we talk about the pricing, the industry estimates suggest that the Flying Flea S6 will be positioned as a premium electric offering and is expected to launch in the price range of Rs 2.30 lakh to Rs 3.40 Lakh (Ex-Showroom), depending on the battery variants.
