2027 VW ID.Tiguan EV Revealed: Range, Specs & World Premiere
Volkswagen has globally introduced its all-new ID.Tiguan EV, which will be the next-generation model to the ID.4 and ID.5 crossovers, which has been sold for more than 9,50,000 units. The fresh ID.Tiguan unites the internationally acclaimed SUV nameplate with Volkswagen's advanced new-generation electric foundation.
Volkswagen will be launching in European markets in early 2027 (With North American Markets to Follow). The company has smartly utilised the popularity of the Tiguan branding and took a big step in design, interior quality, and practicality.
Volkswagen ID.Tiguan Design
Visually, the ID.Tiguan gets soft, jellybean-like crossover curves. The 2027 Volkswagen electric SUV follows “Pure Positive” design language, as it retains traditional SUV stance with tightly sculpted surfaces and precise character lines.

Looking at a distance, it feels like a class above its actual footprint, thus Volkswagen is coming back to its roots with classic and tactile pull-style door handles.

Volkswagen ID.Tiguan Interiors
As per Volkswagen, they have addressed the driver feedback, as they have removed capacitive touch sliders and have re-introduced a logical, yet physical operating concept.

It also gets the inclusion of dedicated physical buttons for the center console for the HVAC controls, and a rotary control for adjusting the audio volume. There is also an addition of a brand-new multifunction steering wheel featuring real physical buttons.

Volkswagen now offers a "Retro" display mode that reconfigures the 10-inch digital cockpit into an eye-catching blue and red gauge cluster, paying homage to the legendary Mk4 Golf design.
