Kia has reached a significant milestone by delivering 150 Syros EVs in Kochi.
Kia India has achieved a record milestone by delivering 150 units of Kia Syros EV to customers in Kochi, thus showcasing the increased adoption of EVs in Kerala. The deliveries were scheduled through Kia dealer partner Incheon Kia.
This milestone has come just after Kia launched the Syros EV in India on July 30, 2026. The electric SUV comes at a starting price of Rs 13.49 lakh for the base 42 kWh version and goes up to Rs 16.99 lakh for the top-spec Extended Range variant, both prices are Ex-Showroom.
Kia Syros EV Range & Power
The larger 51.4 kWh battery pack provides an ARAI-certified range of 526 Km under the MIDC full cycle, while the smaller 42 kWh battery provides a claimed range of 443 Km.

POWER: The larger battery is powered by a front-mounted electric motor churning out 171 PS of maximum power output with a claimed 0-100 km/hr in just 8.1 seconds. The Syros EV also features NMC battery pack and is underpinned by the reinforced version of Kia’s K1 platform.
The Syros EV also supports 100 kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to be charged from 10-80% in just 39 minutes. It also comes equipped with battery conditioning in order to regulate the temperature of the batteries especially during faster DC charging, along with a 10.8 kW onboard AC charger.
The electric SUV also features regenerative braking controls via paddle shifters, an Auto mode for regeneration and an i-Pedal system. Other EV-specific features include Vehicle-to-Load functionality, a Virtual Engine Sound System, battery heating, and column-mounted shift-by-wire system.
