Mahindra 3XO EV Range Explained

The newly launched Mahindra 3XO EV provides a ARAI-claimed Range of 351 Km on a single charge, and an expected real-world range of 250-300 Km (As per various Sources). Mahindra has integrated a front-wheel drive electric motor generating a peak power of 150 hp. The company has prioritised efficiency in order to increase its efficiency.

• Battery: Mahindra has sourced the same 39.4 kWh battery pack from the previous XUV400.
• ARAI Claimed Range: 351 KM (CERTIFIED)

Mahindra XUV 3XO Power & Charging

MOTOR: The 3XO is powered by a front-axle electric motor generating a max power of 150 Hp & 310 Nm torque, and can accelerate from 0-100 km/hr in just 8.3 seconds. 

Charging: It comes with rapid DC charging 

• DC Charging: 10-80% in just 24 minutes with 350 kW DC fast charger. 
• Standard AC Charging: 0-100% at 7.2 kW for 6.5 hours. 

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV Real World Range (Expected)

However, the car is just launched but looking at the ARAI certified range figures, it is expected to provide a real-world range of 250-300 Km on a single charge. Although it is just launched so the exact real world range can be determined only when it can be tested extensively. 

Mahindra 3XO Range VS Competition

The ARAI-certified range figures of the 3XO is quite decent but still low as compared to the competition as Nexon EV (350 Km ARAI) and Windsor EV (332 Km ARAI) offer quite decent range. However, we have to further wait for its real-world range test in order to calculate its real range.
