Maruti e Vitara Battery Replacement Costs & Expenses 2026
The e Vitara is the first electric offering from Maruti, as the company has entered into the highly competitive EV industry with the launch of e Vitara. It comes with an option of 49 kWh and the larger 61 kWh battery packs. The replacement cost of e Vitara’s battery ranges from Rs 5-5.5 lakh.
The e Vitara is also available with a Battery-as-a-Service option, where the battery is rented at a cost of Rs 3.99-4.39 per km for the battery, making direct replacements quite rare.

Maruti e Vitara Battery Warranty
Maruti provides a warranty on e Vitara’s high-voltage battery for 8-year or 1,60,000 Km, whichever comes first. This warranty is standard on both the battery packs ensuring a complete coverage on the e Vitara’s blade battery packs.
It also includes a free 7.4 kW AC wall box charger with installation and also comes with a standard 3-year warranty, which can be further extended up to 8 years.
