Metz Energy launches the E-3W Midi TwoX, making its debut in the Last-Mile Delivery Sector.
Metz Energy, a Gurugram headquartered company has officially launched its e-3W, Midi TwoX specifically for last-mile delivery. The vehicle has received green signal from its fleet customers and is deploying vehicles directly to their networks. The company is expecting that its recently launched vehicle will be running on the Indian roads from next month.
Metz Energy Midi TwoX Technical Details
The Midi TwoX is positioned in L5N category vehicles and has complete homologation. The state registrations for the TwoX has been started for places like Delhi, Haryana, & Uttar Pradesh, while various applications for states like Maharashtra, Telangana, & Karnataka are currently in progress, according to the company.
Advertisement- The Midi TwoX can run on maximum speeds of 70 km/hr with a range of 125 km on a single charge, while the actual range can vary based on different loads, terrain, and riding conditions.

- POWER: The electric motor produces 4.5 kW and 28 Nm of peak torque, and both the motor-gearbox assembly and the battery system come with certified IP67 ratings.
- The battery pack is rated at 5.38 kWh and can charge to 70% SOC in just 1.5 hours and full 100% SOC in 2.5 hours via 1350W offboard charger.
- The Midi TwoX gets a 260 kg payload capacity, with a cargo capacity of 48 cubic feet, while the turning radius is 1.7 m, ideal for heavy-traffic delivery environments.
One of the most advanced features of the Midi TwoX is the proprietary tilting mechanism that enhances the suspension for better comfort for the driver. According to Metz Energy, the product is engineered by the suggestions of over 400 delivery riders across various e-commerce, quick commerce, B2B, and hyperlocal delivery.
The company also analysed the operational data from 1.2 lakh shipments finally coming to the production design. Thus it will be interesting to see how it performs in the commercial fleet delivery segment.
