The Porsche Cayenne Electric boasts an impressive array of screens: Interior unveiled before its launch.

Porsche is all set to introduce the Cayenne Electric at the end of this year and will be sold alongside its petrol counterpart model. Porsche will be positioning the Cayenne Electric above the Macan EV and will be available for users in regular and coupe SUV bodytypes. However, the Stuttgart manufacturer has provided a glimpse of the interiors of the upcoming electric SUV.
Porsche Cayenne Electric Interiors
On the inside, the users are greeted with a modern yet futuristic looking cabin with heavily lined displays that compliments the entire dashboard of the car, making it look attractive. The interiors boast a largest display area ever attached by Porsche, which includes an imposing 14.25-inch curved digital cluster which is an OLED screen integrated with touch controls displayed on the outer edges.
It also houses a big 12.25-inch central display that is curved from the top of the dash to the center console and presented as an infotainment and HVAC panel. Also called the ‘Flow Display’, this unit is basically a modern foldable display that is equipped with a ‘Ferry Pad’ palmrest situated at the bottom for improved accessibility.
The Cayenne EV will also come with an option of an even bigger 14.9-inch passenger display that will provide in-car entertainment, app control, and video streaming while the car is on the move. The SUV is also offered with a heads-up display integrated with augmented reality, boasting an effective display size of 87 inches.
Porsche Cayenne Electric Features & Creature Comforts
However, those who are a fan of traditional Porsche’s may criticize the tech-loaded interiors, instead they will also appreciate the presence of physical controls for the temperature, fan speed, and volume controls, which are just god send!! The physical controls are placed right below the central display. The Cayenne EV’s new steering wheel gets a host of controls which also includes a rotary drive-mode selector.
Talking about the center console, it also features a big cubby underneath the Ferry Pad which is quite useful for storing small items and mobile phones. The interiors are styled with ambient lighting and come with surface heating, which just warms the seats, armrests, and door panels.
The Cayenne EV also features mood lighting, which adjusts the lighting, climate controls, sound, and surface heating in order to create a perfect ambience according to the user. The Cayenne electric will be also available with an option of new interior materials, with leather finishing now coming with new colours like Magnesium Grey, Lavender and Sage Grey.
Those looking for a sustainable or vegan option, Porsche also provides a Race-Tex interior with Pepita-print textile as a signature styling of the older interiors of the manufacturer. Other creature comforts include the largest panoramic glass sunroof ever attached to a Porsche. It slides all the way at the front and comes with Variable Light Control integrated with multiple transparency settings.
Cayenne Electric to Generate 1,000 BHP!!!
Porsche has not disclosed official power figures but Porsche has claimed that Cayenne electric will be generating over 1,000 BHP. This amount of humongous power is limited to Turbo variants. However, with the base and mid-spec models, they could generate a maximum power delivery between 400-600 BHP.
The Cayenne Electric also features wireless battery charging and is expected to provide a significant range of 600 Km on a single charge, thus catering according to the consumer’s expectations and setting standards in the high-performance luxury electric SUV segment. However, for the exact technical specifications, we have to wait for its official launch which is scheduled to launch this year.
