Tata Sierra EV
Expected Launch: Q1 2026
Tata has just introduced the ICE versions of the Sierra and it is already gaining buzz in the market with its attractive look and feel. However, Tata Motors is all set to launch the electric version of the Sierra specifically for EV enthusiasts.
POWER: The Sierra EV will be equipped with a 55 kWh and 65 kWh battery pack variants integrated with rear-wheel as well as all-wheel drive models. However, the company has not revealed the technical specifications, but expect the Sierra EV to provide a significant range of 450-500 Km on a single charge.
Price: The prices are expected in a range of Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh (Ex-Showroom).

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
Expected Launch: January 2026
Maruti Suzuki is all set to enter the EV industry with their inaugural electric car, the e Vitara in January 2026, thus making the iconic entry in the highly competitive EV segment.
POWER: The new e Vitara will be based on the carmaker’s all electric HEARTECT-e architecture and will be powered by a 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery pack providing a significant range of 344-543 Km (ARAI) on a single charge. The e Vitara will also use Suzuki’s ALLGRIP-e electric 4WD system specifically on the larger battery pack, integrated with independent front and rear eAxles.
These variants will also feature a dedicated Trail Mode that implies selective braking and effective torque distribution to improve off-road performance.

VinFast Limo Green
Expected Launch: July 2026
Vinfast has recently given a green signal to its latest electric car, the Limo Green, which is a seven-seater electric MPV that will compete with the likes of Kia Carens Clavis EV.
POWER: It will be also equipped with a 60.13 kWh battery pack integrated with an electric motor producing 150 kW to deliver 280 Nm of peak torque providing a single-charge range of up to 450 Km.
Tata Avinya
Expected Launch: Late 2026
Tata Motors has the most complete EV lineup in the passenger EV market space, but now the company is taking a big step forward and stepping in the segment of premium EVs with the introduction of its Avinya brand of EVs scheduled to debut in 2026.
The Indian manufacturer will be showcasing two new concepts, a high-riding Avinya X electric SUV integrated with a four-door coupe, followed by a five-door sportback version as the first model from the brand.
NEW PLATFORM: However, the company has not revealed the exact details, but it is confirmed that the Avinya models will be underpinned by Tata’s new lightweight Gen 3 EV architecture, which is an exclusive born EV skateboard platform which will provide rapid charging speeds, flat-floor design, and longer range on a single charge.
Kia Syros EV
Expected Launch: Q1 2026
Kia is planning to launch the electric version of the Syros. Numerous sightings of test mules have confirmed that the company is working on the Syros EV and will be retaining the original boxy silhouette of the ICE model, followed by the familiar lighting elements and wheel designs.
FEATURES: The Syros EV will offer variety of features such as cooled rear seats, panoramic sunroof, dual 12.3-inch screens, powered driver’s seat, and dual-tone upholstery as it will be positioned in the budget-EV segment, going against the likes of Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400.
