Ather’s charging network has achieved the 5,000 mark milestone across the country. The network includes 3,675 fast chargers which are controlled directly by Ather Energy, while the rest 1,400 chargers are managed by third party networks. 

Ather Grid Charging Network Expansion

According to Ather Energy, more than 3,675 chargers are operated by the company, while the rest are managed by partner networks such as Hero Vida and Matter, as well as other charging operators like Bolt.Earth, Kazam, and EVamp, as all are equipped with the LECCS connector standard technology. 

The Ather’s network has more than 100 chargers installed in major metro cities such as Pune, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. The company’s home city, Bengaluru is leading with more than 240 chargers. On the other hand, the Tier 2 cities like Nasik, Malappuram and Indore have a network of 45 fast chargers, while Kozhikode and Coimbatore have 65 chargers each.

Ather has also announced that more than 400 chargers will be installed in Tamil Nadu alone, which covers more than 38 cities and other important routes like Coimbatore-Bengaluru and Madurai-Kanyakumari. 

Currently, the charging infrastructure of Ather Energy has expanded to 395 cities, while the company has also enhanced their presence globally with more than 30 fast chargers installed across Nepal and Sri Lanka.
